In October 2023, I co-directed, alongside Quentin Petit Dit Duhal, issue 19 of the journal “Écrans” (Screens) titled Technologie et métamorphoses du corps à l’écran (Technology and Body Metamorphoses on Screen). This issue examines the body transformations and identity shifts under the influence of digital and audiovisual technologies, analyzing their impact on body representation in cinematic, video, and media productions.

A Reflection on the Body in the Digital Era
This issue explores how technological advances redefine the perception and staging of the body on screen. Among the topics addressed:
- Body modifications in contemporary cinema and TV series.
- The influence of avatars and virtual bodies in video games.
- Body transformation through special effects and augmented reality.
- The impact of technologies on identities and gender representations on screen.
My Role as Co-Director of the Publication
In this editorial project, I participated in:
- Developing the thematic and editorial framework of the issue.
- Selecting and coordinating contributions.
- Reviewing and structuring the articles.
- Promoting the publication within academic and cultural environments.
Impact and Perspectives
This project has enriched the reflection on how new technologies transform body representations and influence our relationship with images. It opens perspectives on the future evolutions of digital bodies and new forms of visual narration.
