Academic Positioning
I am a research associate at the Approches Contemporaines de la Création et de la Réflexion Artistiques (ACCRA – UR 3402) laboratory at the University of Strasbourg. My qualification as a Maîtresse de Conférence (Associate Professor) in France covers multiple disciplines, including art history, fine arts, philosophy, and modern civilizations. My academic journey has spanned both France and Canada, culminating in a PhD in art history and arts studies, obtained through a joint doctoral program between the University of Quebec in Outaouais and the University of Paris Nanterre.
Research Topics
My research is situated at the intersection of art history, philosophy, and cultural studies. It explores:
- Feminism and socially engaged artistic practices
- Photography and contemporary artistic practices
- Anthropomorphism and the relationship between body and object
- Futurity and representations of the posthuman in art
- Exhibition curation and issues in cultural mediation
