After the Myth of Freedom: Photographing the Shadow Society Post-’68 (October 4, 2018)
On October 4, 2018, I gave a presentation on transgressive post-’68 photography at the Rebelles conference at the University of La Rochelle. Through the works of Molinier, Strömholm, Witkin, and Mapplethorpe, this talk explored the margins, rebellious bodies, and social protest, questioning the relationship between photography, identity, and censorship.
