Photographic Science Fiction: Augmented Bodies and Future Imaginaries (April 4, 2018)
On April 4, 2018, I gave a presentation entitled La science-fiction photographique (Photographic Science Fiction) at the symposium Science-fiction, prothétisation, cyborgisation at Université Lyon I. This talk explored representations of the augmented and posthuman body in contemporary photography, questioning the connections between art, technology, and anticipation through cybernetic imaginaries and futuristic bodily mutations.
