Experience at the UQO Gallery

As an assistant at the UQO Gallery, I actively participated in the preparation and management of exhibitions. This role allowed me to gain practical experience in organizing artistic events, from coordinating installations to communicating with artists and the public. I also assisted in implementing promotion and cultural mediation strategies to reach a wider and more diverse audience.

Volunteering at the Quebec Museum Society Conference

At the same time, my volunteer work at the Quebec Museum Society conference provided me with valuable insights into the challenges and innovations in museum management. During the conference, I helped organize panels, welcomed speakers, and facilitated sessions, which allowed me to develop skills in event logistics and customer service.

Personal and Professional Impact

These roles had a profound impact on my career by providing me with essential skills such as project management, effective communication, and problem-solving in dynamic environments. I also broadened my professional network and gained a better understanding of potential careers in the arts and culture sector.

The 2016-2017 year was crucial for my personal and professional growth. Working at the UQO Gallery and volunteering at the Quebec Museum Society conference not only provided me with practical skills but also reinforced my passion for art and culture, confirming my desire to pursue a career in this vibrant and essential field.
